AxeRack: Guitar & Gear Log
The insurer asks for serials and values. The tech asks how you want it set up. You ask which board made that sound. One rack holds all three answers.
In developmentThe day you need this record is the worst day to start it. A flooded basement, a stolen case, and the insurer asks for the one thing you never wrote down: the serial. Or the gentler version: the tech asks how you want it set up, and you cannot remember how it played when it played best.
AxeRack is the record: guitars and gear on one rack, kept on your phone.
The Registry
Every instrument with its serial, brand, model, year, finish, a photo, what you paid and what it is worth now. The rack flags anything missing a serial, because that is the number a claim turns on.
Setup Specs
Strings, gauge, tuning, action at both E strings, neck relief, dated per instrument. When the setup drifts, you know exactly what to ask for, and the history reads like a service book.
Rig Snapshots
The pedalboard and amp as they were on a day, the chain in signal order, and one line about the sound it made and where you used it. Boards change constantly; this is how the sound survives them.
Service and Repairs
Every bench visit: what was done, where, and what it cost. Provenance raises what an instrument is worth to the next owner, and a dated line beats a memory.
The Value Ledger
Your collection totaled: replacement value, what you paid, and which instruments are fully documented with serial, photo and value. Gaps are flagged before you need them closed.
The Gear Schedule Pdf
One dated document with every instrument, its serial, values and service history, plus your rigs. Give one to your insurance broker and keep one off-site.
Private by Construction
Everything stays on the device. No account, no server, no sync. Nobody else can read it, including us.
What This Is Not
AxeRack records your own figures. It does not appraise instruments, fetch market prices, or give financial or insurance advice. Bring the schedule to your broker; the numbers in it are yours.
Free and Unlocked
Five instruments stay free, always, with setups, rigs, repairs and the ledger all working. The one-time unlock removes the five-instrument cap and adds the gear schedule PDF. One payment, no subscription.
